Our Healthy Kids™ furniture line contains only healthy, safe products for kids to use. Start with the safest, strongest plywood, throw out all hardboard and MDF, or medium density fiberboard. Use the safest, most durable, chemical resistant, GREENGUARD® certified Tuff-Gloss™ finish, change to the strongest possible method for construction and you get the new and improved Wood Designs product line.

Two factories, modern computer controlled woodworking equipment, and some of the best, brightest, American craftsmen in North Carolina are how we create superior products for early learners to use. We put everything good, healthy, and durable into the products. We left out all VOC's, formaldehyde, dangerous melamine laminates, weak fiberboard, and weak dowel construction. Those ingredients did not measure up to our standards. The results are products we are proud of, products that will last, products that are safe, and products that are healthy for our children to use every single day. All of our products are CPSIA compliant, meet or exceed CARB II requirements, CHPS requirements, and any other requirements that may be out there. They are protected with a GREENGUARD® certified Tuff-Gloss™ UV finish.

Our newest additions are the Healthy Kids™ Colors. Healthy Kids™ Colors are the same Healthy Kids™ plywood, GREENGUARD® certified Tuff-Gloss™ UV finish, and other ingredients that are used to produce all of our products. They also include beautiful, solid color surfaces that add interest and excitement to every room. Other companies use dangerous melamine laminate on soft medium density fiberboard to produce their color products. Wood Designs uses Healthy Kids™ plywood and GREENGUARD® certified Tuff-Gloss™ UV finished colors to produce our Healthy Kids™ Colors furniture. Healthy Kids™ furniture and Colors are simply the best.
